All the letters given in the holiday homework are reproduced as given. I tried internet to get the answer in vain. Now I am getting the same doubt. May be 1 or 2 letters may be typo error I feel or the answer may be in 2 or 3 words instead of a single 11 letter word. I have tried all combinations in vain.

Yes, I tried the Internet - a reliable site that gives single words or phrases, and couldn't get anything.

Thanks Jack. Palindromes makes sense and that is with one single wrong letter. I will correct the question and send back to the school for wasting so much of time of children, their relatives and friends all over the globe. The word is actually palendromes. this is a phrase or word which can be spelled backward or forward like "racecar". My daughter has the same home work and she somehow figured it out herself.

Chambers dictionary, widely recognised as an authority on the English language, spells it as palindrome, and does not give an alternative.

As Jack noted, the correct spelling is Palindromes, so the E in the question should be an i.
