Trying not to give too much away, are the modifications to the across clues required all different, or does the same one appear more than once?

A bit frustrating. I have the top complete (including the first word in 8d) but only 15d protruding into the bottom

Some I have quibbles about already!

I've belatedly picked up the Guardian and started this, to little avail. I have 13A - and some others - but it doesn't seem to help much. Have all the across clues got an allusion to the substance mentioned? Strong hints please!

All the other across clues contain as part of the answer an example of the first part of 13. This part is unclued.

22A has proved impossible (my last one). Any hint on the 13A item in it gratefully received!

I have 2 left & I'm about to give up! I just got 22A (I think)! Just need 19D and 24A. Am I correct in thinking 19D is A-I--- & 24A is S---c- ? I have ideas: animus & scotch but no reasoning for either. I'm hoping 22A is correct. The whole word being 13 part1.
