I get 'Sue' from Susan, but why 'En' for Nancy?

If 'Nude' = BARE + 'Breasts' = CHEST, then how is R TOWERS assembled from 'Rear' and 'Rupees'?

14a Remove AT from TEMPLATE ?

22a Nancy is a French town, French for "in" is EN + SUE

55a To rear = to TOWER, in R'S (rupees) ?
