Just finished, what I thought was a bit of a stinker this weekend with some dodgy clues and very obscure references; but to the point...

7d. Mass of algae sent far? All wrong (6,4) FALLEN STAR anagram of "sent far all" - but how does that link to "mass of algae"? - been googling away with no success!
