I find the Guardian's print version too fuzzy so here's a new version. I left out what seems to be a hangover at the end of 25. As usual I have not checked any of this version very thoroughly.

Genius is a monthly puzzle that appears on the first Monday of the relevant month, with the deadline being the Saturday immediately before the first Monday of the next month.

As others have said, this wasn't a major challenge, although my penny still hasn't dropped on the second part of the instructions. 4 down gave me a smile.

You and me both. Think 25D might be useful in some way but not sure how.
