Imho today's Telegraph prize crossword was the poorest one for a long time. I put a few hints on my blog, and found that I was struggling to find any clues worth explaining.

I had 24a wrong so that threw me for 15d!

8a= thai 15d= beaten 17a= animal

sorry 17d should read unbeaten
