En is a nut and En is another nut, so 'nuts' in the clue. Light = not hard. En light en.

. An en or nut is equivalent to half an em space measured on width, e.g. in 10pt an en is 10 points high by 5 points wide.

Hi Brendan hope youre well . This business of en=nut isn't very convincing though it does help us get a score!!! Cant find a ref anywhere on the net. Always knew about ens and ems but nuts? NUTS! Must be a specially awkw clue as it s my last one too.

Thea, sorry you couldn't see anything on the internet about en = nut. All you have to do is look at the definition, in Chambers, for 'nut'. It wasn't too obscure, honest!
