40 Habaneros - Sore+Ban,reversed, with A, appropriate and H/hot.

HABANEROS are chillies?

SORE NAB and H backwards, but I'm missing an A

Re 40 D, I wasn't sure if the A came from the beginning of the clue or from 'appropriate' - I went with the latter, but could be wrong!
