Just one I don't understand:

3d "Identify big river thus on map of the countryside" is RURAL. Obviously "of the countryside" is rural, but how does the rest of the clue fit?

The River Ural ( a big river) would be R Ural on a map ?

Oh, I thought the Urals were mountains, not a river as well. Obviously my geography isn't up to much!
