Well done Zardoz & AJT - no you're not boasting - we all help each other kindly on here usually without any nasty comments unlike "the other site"!!
I'm nearly done but can't get 5d & 18d despite having most of their letters - any clues please?

I had trouble with that one. 18 ac is another word for 5 d. You obviously have the theme(?) now/ The 4 letters (2nd/5th) in 5 d are another word for the first three letters of 43 ac - according to Chambers. Is that enough?

Thanks for that AJT - all done now. How does 15a "pro" fit its clue?

43a is another word for "striking" and it's (3,8)

Does 43a start with a T ?

No it starts with "E"
