17 ac is one of the undefined slutions mentioned in the preamble. If you've got enough of the crossword finished to realise what the theme is, it should be easy to find the answer. Otherwise, the cluse is in two parts and both straightforward, - person without energy - a kind of person without e - energy - and the name of a former MP.

I needn't have bothered to try to help with the clue - all of the nswers have been given on another thread, so unless you want the fun of doing it yourself, it's all there.
