a technical term in football. Job as in Job's
comforter I think it is a stretch of one's imagination here. The other two AU(l)STERE,

I'd not heard of Job's comforter before,I like the phrase. I still can't see the whole picture on this clue.

Could odd job be explained:
Comforter=Job. Odd=strange=puzzling. Reflection=switch order of words.

"God's been acting odd, Job. You must have been a naughty boy"?
(I'm paraphrasing)

All I say is that I'm sure that's right,unless of course it isn't. And the same goes for my own suggestion.
