Quick query.....why is

Old boy in the French listener's part = LOBE. I get the "listener part"

and..

Bill concerning an area of land = ACRE

why "bill concerning" ?

My understanding is ...

Old boy in the French listener's part = LOBE.... LE (french for 'the') and, inside it, OB (Old Boy abbreviation).

Bill concerning an area of land = ACRE ... AC (abbreviation for bill) and, RE ('re' = concerning).
