I was wondering about "dog-in-the-manger" = selfish, as definition, but couldn't parse the rest?
I can see 'doing' + 'them' (those people?) but how do you get 'anger'?
does 'are annoying greatly' equate to 'anger'?
I cannot see it?

Glad to help, Sheen.
Anagram of "doing", plus them, and anger.

I think anger is more intense than annoying, hence greatly.
Reasonable clue?
