I'm stuck on the NW corner. 1D would help... Bag containing pig, hurried to secure first of farrow, giving nothing away (5-5)

I keep thinking the second word might be Frank, F from Farrow and RAN for hurried, though at a loss with the K and can only thing of sow or hog for pig.... help!

If this is the prize, convention is hints. Hope that suits. Think of the bag a pig is in and another word for hurried with the first letter of f inside. Useful for gambling...
