Phew! They all look obvious when you see the answers. I’m down to the final 3 of 130.
1. s - - - - d - - - - d - - (3rd word must be dog)
2. t - - f - - - - g - - - - - (f or g is the animal)
3. s - - - - - - - t - - - (s is the animal)

It's been driving me nuts!

the famous grouse would be good for No 2 if the second word had 6 letters, not 5?

Tom - I'm hoping that

is Fluffy the Porcupine although it should be A Porcupine Named Fluffy.

The F word in T - - F - - - - G - - - - - is a 5 letter word. The answer before is frog and the next one is goat so, as the answers are in alphabetical order, this one could be an F or a G between frog and goat

Fluffy the porcupine? Right out of my league, unlike the funky gibbon...

How about snoop doggy dog?

And scorpion tail for the last one - not very good though
