Where does 'Book' fit in?

30a Fabric samples which are for use in bathroom (10) - TOILETRIES (For use in bathroom)

54a Note commission is being cut back (5) - BREVE (Note)

12d Ingenious beam supported at one against failing (6) - CLEVER? (Ingenious)

PS. For 12d the number of letters is given as 5, but it's 6.

30 Toile (fabric) Tries (samples)

12 Cantilever subtract anti - Clever

54 Commission - Brevet , cut - Breve

I don't like that parse but can't think of a better one just now.

13 Looks like four definitions - ask,purchase,book,list
