Hi elle Thanks so much for your reply Indeed as ever I had some wrong crossers. Had LIMPET (which is a hanger-on) instead of LAPPET ( which is just a hanger)

Well done elle. I came to the conclusion some crossers were wrong, as there are only two possible words MxCxAxE, of which the more common is macramé!! But I couldn't get my head round it anyway.

Lucky you Thea. I only have one granddaughter and I am taking her to the theatre soon.
