There is a verbal construction called 4th condition Is that anything to do with the clue

Hi Brendan Hope you are well and thanks for your reply. Its a rather untidy clue/answer I think. the clue breaks down thus---
Definition = D + Condition (State)
strictly it ought to read
Def= Condition + D
