I'm slowly going mad surrounded by dictionaries with my last clue.

Floor with this dramatic increase would be a parapet: EC?E

ECCE or ECHE maybe but neither means parapet or floor AFAIK. Maybe I should be adding the solution to a synonym for floor to make a word for parapet? Ant help appreciated, thank you.

Also any help appreciated, but if you could help me with my ant it would be a bonus.

Dramatic increase (Shakespearean) - Eche - if you add 'Fl' (floor' then Fleche is the parapet.

That's brilliant, mamya. Never knew Fl for floor - it's always Florida to me - but if I had known it I probably would still be struggling.
