I can see the IS invested in ART (paintings) and the end but can't see the first bit.

I can think of an answer if the F is wrong.

The F is definitely wrong.

Could be that the F is wrong; for 42a "Worthy of consideration, unlike pollen?" (3,2,2,7,2) I've got "Not to be sniffed at"

sneezed rather than sniffed?

Yes, it's "SNEEZED" so the e gives MONETARIST for 37d
