I think I've finished today's prize puzzle, but I'm not sure of the parsing of 25D so may have got the answer wrong.
GET AS FAR AS EDGE OF BOX LEAVING GAP IN DEFENCE (5)
R?A?H - presumed REACH with definition Get or Get as far as.

gap in defence=breach
edge of box=B
get as far as =reach
