Yes it is YAWN BUT Yawn is definitely not something dull. Whaddyer think. Yawn is a noun or a verb. Dull is an adjective.

Dull may be an adjective - but the clue is 'Something dull'. Something is a noun ... isn't it?

Thea(o), I was rushing earlier, so you got a terse reply. I am often not very good at parsing, but I really didn't see a problem with Yawn being 'Something dull'. Maybe you were being a little on the picky side!
