Where's everyone..? Surely not sunbathing or gardening..! Miserable weather, no need for a watering can. No problems this week just a query on parsing certain clues. 6d e.g. (it's always the 'small' ones..!) I have the 'durable' bit..but where's the 'comic'.!? Tips gratefully received.!

hi Raymond
I have only just bought my copy.
6d I think it must refer to one of the old film duo
(Oliver )
Just off to get lunch for a group of friends and do a bit of weeding (sun is shining here and quite warm too )

i thought it was tough this week, but several clues brought smiles - particularly my last four - 7, 22, 18 and 19

Hi raymond
I had never heard of 11a. It is well-constructed though, with an abbreviation for Australia backwards in the middle.

HI devonian
5d construct it as the clue says, then turn it upside down. The "fun" is a bit loose, though OK; "games" would have been easier.
8a the first word is constructed from "soft top", the second is an anagram
