I need help guys with three clues first 4 letters ?l?a give her some cool gaze. Second First offer might not be a lot for a lot 2 words first word 5 letter second word I think is bid. The third clue is many are knocked down 4 letters l?t? Thanks in advance

STRAW BID, I think, for "First offer might not be a lot for a lot"
LOTS (a 'lot' is what is 'knocked down' - i.e. sold - in an auction).
