1 down: 'roughly draw insect, one flying dangerously?'
-o---e---

10 across: 'Goaded us regularly to track price'
---s (second letter is fourth in 1D)

15 across: 'It flies flags'
---t-n- (second letter is eighth letter of 1D)

* I do a lot of crosswords - the Rt sometimes has bad clues(I think!)

I agree with the comment that about everyfourth week a crossword is set which has some very weak clues, with refernces that are imprecise or simply the wrong definition or meaning.

HOWEVER... 3d - Kneepad comes equipped with belt (7) must be 'Hassock' - but why?? Can somebody explain please

AND... Who is the radio presenter in 9d 'Jasmine at huge assembly for radio presenter (5,8). I have ?A?E? and the second name beginning with N.

Thanks any helpers.

I stopped doing this puzzle because of the constant stream of weak clues!

Has (comes equipped) (with) sock (belt)

James Naughtie - anagram of \"Jasmine at huge\" - usually on Radio 4, which is why you may not have heard of him!!

Thanks for that - I wasn't thinking of 'belt' in that way until I read your post.

Yes I have heard of James Naughtie - but I wasn't seeing it and hadn't twigged it was an anagram.
