Big Dave and JDOvengloves,seems I had 25d wrong,since I had an as as 3rd letter on 29a,fishing port.With WICK as the answer-thanks- is ascot a NECKPIECE??? or something...I was overtired after having done the new yrok times sunday xword in the intern.herald tribune before starting on jumbo,and wrote nosepiece...shame and shame.....
