Stuck on the bottom left of the puzzle. What is 17, 20 and 23?

Why are you only asking those who have the same puzzle in front of them? If you gave the clue, you could have many other people trying to assist you.

Since Deekay hasn't come back for nearly two hours, I'll do it properly for him/her. I'll also assume that these are the last three and give you the found letters. Also note that the last letter of 20A is the fourth letter of 17D and the penultimate letter of 23A is the sixth letter of 17D.

20A - Coat, that guy's second, shows such manliness (8) ?A?H?I???

23A - Splendid broadcast organised (9) ?R?N?I???

17D - Support European partner (7) ?S?????

17D = Support European partner (7) ?S?O???

So you got there without me, even though I gave you a bum steer to start with. I must apologise for a typo in the known letters for 20A. Of course it should have been ?A?H?S??. Too quick to get it done before Holby City started!
