I'm behind with my crosswords this week......
LOI..... 13A: Bind with plaster areas getting knocked about (5)
S?T?P
The answer has to be 'strap'= bind?
but cannot parse the rest of the clue?

Thank you, Mamya.
I didn't know that 'bind with plaste'r meant 'strap' , so I discounted that part of the clue in the definition, as to me 'strap' by itself also meant 'bind'!
No wonder I couldn't get it!

I could well be incorrect - but they bind a broken limb in plaster bandage for example.

Always happy to be corrected, hope it's right.
