Oops. sorry, didn't include which xword in subject of previous post. Using a tablet so typing a bit laborious.

Have finished but can't parse solution to 15d. Can anyone elaborate?

I would love to help/try to help... but you haven't given the clue. There are many helpful people here, but we don't all have all the papers!

I think it is a double meaning - something that is "fancy", and also meaning to "flesh out".

Thank you ochelt!

Apols to others. I didn't realise there are people out there happy to help with crosswords they aren't actually looking at! Will elaborate more in future posts...

Baglady, glad you got your answer sorted.

Yes, I buy a couple of papers every day, but quite enjoy tackling clues from others!

You have not told us how many letters?
Would "pepper" fit?

For 14a: Might one recognise a story that is by man who talks backwards embraced by reader? (3,8) I have "LIE DETECTOR" which fits other answers. Please can anyone explain why that might be correct?

Many thanks.
