Some chromebook versions have neither so you are lucky Bernie.
On some chromebooks, the delete key was removed.
You have to hit the ALT + backspace instead.

What would we do without you!

I have changed my settings and now have a Caps Lock button.
Changed the "Search" button to "Caps Lock".
Much, much, better than "Alt" and "search", for me anyway!
So, I have earned myself a coffee and a sticky bun!

It was quite straightforward, Jazzgirl.
There was a video on Youtube which showed me how do it.
Do you have a Chromebook?

I don't have chromebook, but my neighbour does and he wondered about the missing keys and I had previously given him the 'old' info, but now I can point him in the direction of youtube. Thanks rusty:)

I found this simpler.
Go to Tools in top right corner of screen (three horizontal bars).
Select Settings.
Select Device/keyboard settings.
Click Search dropdown box.
Choose Caps lock.
Click OK.
That should do it, Jazzgirl.
I would have sent a link, but I have not discovered how to do it yet!
