When I first became Twitterised, the first folk I chose to follow were Cancellara, Geraint, Lizzie Armitstead and Victoria Pendleton.
So glad you have become addicted! Are you also enjoying the scenery as much as I do ? I know those places but they will never cease to amaze me !
We did a 'Tour de France' with my parents (I was about 8 years old then) in a 2 CV - Great but we wondered whether we might have to push the little car over the Tourmalet !
Now, Jazzgirl, if you are going to be a bike aficionado, you shall have to call him "G".
That is what everyone in the cycling world calls him.
He is very fond of Welsh cakes, and often tweets about them.
I am not sure what a Welsh cake is!

I think the original categorisation of climbs was based on the gear you had to put a 2CV in to get to the top - Hors Categorie defeated the car!
There's nice! Not heard that lovely Welsh phrase in years!
