Struggling with last 2:

9a "in short, I'm disgusted by most of fruity type of language" (5); U ? R ? C looks like it has to be UGRIC (assuming 24,1d is WORD SQUARE) but cant parse it.

14a "An interjection, perhaps by EEC?" (4,2,6);
? A ? T ? F ? P ? E ? H looks like it could be PART OF SPEECH but again can't parse.

Any help gratefully received

I had it as UG(h) RIC(h), but it was another I didn't like.

...........and another! EEC is "part of spEECh"
