1d. Sliced peach and port (5) - SPLIT

This fits the definition of 'Sliced' and 'Port', but why 'Peach'?

Peach means to shop, or tell on.
Split is the same.

I didn't know this until a minute ago - 'peach' can mean to betray, accuse etc. Split is also a synonym for inform on so' peach ' can equal 'split'.

if you look up 'peach' in Anne Bradford's dictionary, it gives you 'split'!
