Just slightly puzzled over this one:-
26 Down - "Stock worker has endless complaint"
The answer is obviously "HANDGRIP", which is HAND +
GRIP(E), but how does the answer relate to "stock"?

Stock is the Handgrip of a gun.

A worker is sometimes known as a hand and they are often referred to in Westerns as people who work with cattle/stock.
