I found this puzzle very difficult and there are two answers that I am unsure about

7 across I have either idle or idly but can't parse either

20 across the only word that I can come up with is fatigued but if it is correct I can't work out why. Any help much appreciated

7a idle - i (h)eld reversed

20a h a bit u es -- "he's" around a little posh

You haven't given the clues, which is always a help.

I remember 7 A - I think it' I dle(h), I held.The clue had something about husband.

Thanks I stupidly had redraft instead of restart for 18 down. I will go with idly for 5 across but can't see where the husband comes into it.

You take the h for husband out of 'held' - so I dle.
