If I was allowed only one book/dictionary etc to help solve crosswords, it would be Bradford's Crossword Solver's Dictionary.
Not Chamber's or anything else.

A veritable treasure trove!

Amazing! Not heard of some of those before.

And to convince you even further, Jazzy, I've recently bought a Bradfords for 1p (!), plus £2-80 postage, through Amazon.
It was classified as 'Very good condition' from the World of Books. Actually it doesn't even look as though it's been read! It's as new!!
It's a 7th edition - same as Rusty's.

Thanks Elle. I have been looking at PayPal, to see how it works. I only have debit card which I use online. Friends have PayPal but some have had their money frozen and it put me off a bit. I may wait until the new edition is published in October. I will have to use my brain and whatever books/online references I already use now. I am in the middle of e-mailing photos to Oz and hovering between this forum and my mail box !!

I don't have Paypal? but I use my Barclaycard (credit card) online as it seems safer? - never use my Debit card online!

I use PayPal with Amazon and eBay.
