I wonder what times it was?
607, to me, indicates a very old puzzle, compared to the Times we regularly see here.
I thought it would be cryptic or non-cryptic.
It appears to be neither!

sorry to have caused such angst,the crossword no is 6710 but I only have the use of one hand at the moment so my typing is a bit erratic

I've only just come on the Forum...I actually did this crossword morning! If I'd looked in earlier , I could have helped!
I guess a Boston terrier is a small dog? anyway, you're correct in that terrier IS the answer!
