That's interesting. One of those rare moments when a cryptic clue has two perfectly acceptable answers. I've struggled today with the north-east corner because I had 8 down solved first as 'soon'

In an instant = soon
Turning up (in a down clue) - gas (N)nitrogen + rings (plural) = LOs

I'm nearly there now though that I've got the correct entry of 'home'
