Stuck on 23a "Mass disseminator of News Corporation, if our speaker joined". I have M?R?A? so I suspect that it's a name like Murray.

Break the clue after "news". The solution + the speaker gives a corporation.

This is my last one, so yes - Stanley...

I thought it might be Morgan (Stanley) but that's more financial than news so I'm not sure

So the wordplay is

disseminator of news (5)
(as in Lord Gnome of Private Eye fame)

Thank you both for your help, and particularly you chrise for your patience. I'd heard of "Morgan Crucible" because I used to cycle past their place in Battersea, but "Morgan Stanley" was a new one. Obviously I'm not rich enough to be doing this crossword!
