I'm still struggling with 26, 448, especially the top left in both grids.
Can anyone help with 1d both grids, Comrade- Stan's - at Scottish house, showing skill with Irish cooking.(2, 5; 7)
I have ?? ???E? and ?????R?
Is barbitone right for 13ac left grid with added b? If so why?. Character from Italian seaport, chorister

1d (right) Stew art (Royal house)

You are right with 13a (right)
Bari (seaport) tone (character) = baritone (singer -chorister) with B added
