I think I've got about as far as I'm going to get with this so help with parsing for these please....

33d. A certain dog with no bone to pick may have lost it? (8,4) - CUPBOARD LOVE is the only thing that vaguely fits the letter pattern but I can't make sense of any of it so ...

26d. Cell is quiet - with others turning up a hindrance (8) - PLATELET (Cell) fits the letter pattern and definition but other than P for 'Quiet' I'm stumped.

41a. Spread under spread? (10) - TABLECLOTH - I know you 'Spread' a 'Tablecloth' but can it 'be' a 'Spread'? or is it wrong?

33 From Old Mother Hubbard?

26d et al = others
yes tablecloth - you would have a spread of food on a tablecloth and a tablecloth is a spread, so spread on spread.

26d and a hindrance = a let?

P = quiet
et al = rest
let = hindrance
