Seem to have gone askew somewhere and would appreciate some help (tia)

3d Maize [6 letters] I have *e*l*e

most sites I've looked on give yellow but other clues that give me these letters are 8 ac awoke, I put rousEd, 10ac cows/bullocks i put cattLe and 12 ac Assign I put accrEdit the caps in answers indicate where I got my initial letters from
