Answer is obviously : as flat as a pancake (= not a ripple to be seen) and Pan = god,but cannot parse the rest of it.

Help appreciated, please!

A Pan (involved in) heinous (anag. indicator) act+ as+ flake (bar) ???

a pan (a god ) inside heinous (anagram of act as) all inside Flake (choc bar)
