43a. Pretentious prince turned around and made interjection (3-2-3) - LAH DI DAH (Pretentious)
I think it's - Prince = HAL 'turned' but I can't get Di Dah from 'Interjection'.
44a. Short fruity drink containing vermouth and lime? (6) - CITRUS?
54a. Smell of body without clothing leads to overtly unchaste reaction (5) - ODOUR (Smell)
I think 'bODy' (body without clothing), but i can't get OUR from the rest.
4d. Much-loved tree, hollowed in the centre (6) - POPLAR (Tree)
This puzzles me because it looked so simple - Much loved = POPULAR minus it's 'Centre' = POPLAR (tree), but, the instruction 'hollowed in the centre' comes after the word 'Tree' and not 'Much loved' so now I'm thinking I've misread it.
