Have just three to get - some help with 27a would be appreciated.

Range of greetings, including mother to boy (not-daughter) 9

"range" is the definition; the "greetings" are rather local dialect (round where I live, for instance).

Himalayas?

Round here no-one says "Hi" or "Hello" - it's always "Hiya".

I don't know about you but I thought that was a rotten grid (like four separate puzzles) and so many of the crossing letters seemed to be rather unhelpful 'A's and 'T's etc. A good workout though.
