Thought I'd finished but having second thoughts on 25a "Hurry to develop a proposal for it" (4,2)

I've got - MOVE ON - but not sure

Any suggestions appreciated

hurry - get a move on
develop a proposal - make a move on
that was how i tried to justify it , it seems we all agree it is the right answer?

A motion (proposal) is moved at a meeting.

I went for it too, but I was a little concerned that MOVE appears elsewhere as a solution; the time in that one was "mo" - this one is presumably EON?

I had COME ON. Fits both meanings I think

Yes, could be a bit better, shrink.

Not a good clue if it's so difficult to decide between two close possibilities.

Is Pauline an adjective relating to another regular setter? If so, yes it is a bit.

I guess we will just have to wait until next week to see which one is right

Yes - Paul usually includes some rude clues.
