42d should be eye necked but why?. Clue is Like some horses the solver reportedly petted. 3-6. Chambers shows no link on "eye". Any horse lovers out there?

It's ewe necked - apparently a sort of fault in a horse's conformation

How strange - this was my only unsolved clue this week an like others I was scouring Chambers for 'eye-necked'. 'Ewe-necked' never occurred to me - but then I'd never heard of either condition TBH.

BTW this is my first post here .... I only found the forum because I'd Googled 'eye-necked' in desperation and the search led me straight here! I never knew such a crib-sheet - sorry 'forum' - existed! I think I might well be back.
