Hi-cannot get the parsing etc to 47d/56a/52d. Any help will be appreciated.
Book written by cook in prison (4)
Crown welcoming area that is built up in capital (6)

Book ... B is Book, rig is cook (as in mess with, manipulate) and Brig is 'a place of detention', a prison.

Crown...' Crown' is Tip, 'area' is A,' that is' is ie (and 'built up' means it's reversed, so 'ei).
