Same here, I started the crossword early this morning, couldn't get 11d, went into town to do some shopping, came home, looked again and saw it "straight away"!

This was the last one I solved too. Not totally convinced that HERO and LION are "interchangeable" tho!

In Chambers a definition of lion is given as :" a person of unusual courage"....so I guess it's OK.
